Crufts 2011 was as amazing as 2010 with Banrigh (Ch Drawing Down the Moon to Cusidh) winning Open Bitch, the bitch CC and Best of Breed. The Dog CC went again to Ch Greyfriars Gille of Beardswood (Banrigh's brother) owned by Sarah and Heather Helps. Congratulations. Thank you to the Judge Mrs Zola Rawson and to everyone for their good wishes.

First event was CaniX a 2km run around the lake at the NEC. Entered were Rob and Hettie and Elise and Banrigh (Ch Drawing Down the Moon to Cusidh). Hettie is now 8 years old and is a rescue lurcher from St Hubert's Hound Sanctuary. Here we are 'relaxing' in the Pavillion before the main ring start.

We were off with Hettie and Rob running No 1 with all the glare of the TV cameras on them! And Elise and Banrigh following on at No 37. Our final times weren't great lets just say there were between 5 and 10 mins but we had an excellent time.

Junior Dog and it was Ronan's (Cusidh Homecoming) turn. This was his first ever indoor show and nerves got the better of handler and owner with Ronan forgetting how to stand and Elise forgetting his age when asked by the Judge. There were seven entries present and Ronan was placed first. Well done Ronan.

Banrigh was then in the main ring for the Hound Group with judge Mrs E Bothwell and here she is on the move. It was a great experience, and here our Crufts journey ended very much on a high for the second year in a row.
